2030 Deadline

The UK Government has confirmed that privately rented properties must achieve the equivalent of EPC Band C by 1 October 2030. Landlords who upgrade and secure a valid EPC C before 1 October 2029 can continue relying on that certificate until it expires, avoiding the more complex four-metric EPC framework being introduced for future assessments.
