Can't find your property?
Green Home Guide uses the UK Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) database to identify and model properties.
Most homes that have been sold or rented since 2008 should have a valid EPC, so your property should usually appear in the list.
If you can't find it, it could be because:
- Your property doesn't currently have a valid EPC.
- The EPC record is incomplete or unavailable.
- Your property is newly built or has recently been converted.
If you think your property should be listed, please contact info@greenhomeguide.co.uk and we'll be happy to help.

A traditional inspection can be valuable, but it’s not always the best starting point.
- Less intrusive — no one needs to step foot in your property.
- Faster turnaround — get results in minutes, not weeks or months.
- More affordable — a fraction of the cost of a full survey.
- Tailored recommendations — we compare upgrade combinations based on your property and goals.
It’s not a replacement for every inspection, but it’s a powerful first step before committing time and money.
After you enter your address, we gather hundreds of property-specific data points and build an online digital twin of your property.
We then model upgrade combinations such as insulation, glazing and solar to identify the route most likely to deliver the best results.
No. Green Home Guide does not provide financial or investment advice.
We estimate costs, savings and potential payback periods to help you make informed decisions, but the decision to implement improvements is ultimately yours.
The amount you could save depends on your property and your goals.
Green Home Guide avoids generic advice and tailors recommendations specifically to your home.
Not necessarily. Green Home Guide is aimed at homeowners and landlords, but tenants may also find it useful when exploring potential improvements.
We estimate costs from the bottom up, including materials, supplier data, labour time and region-specific labour rates.
These estimates should not replace quotes from installers, and we recommend getting multiple quotes before carrying out work.
Green Home Guide aims to model improvements across a wide range of property types, tailoring recommendations based on what is suitable for each home.
Green Home Guide is currently available for properties in England and Wales.
